In the process of going mobile, we geared everything around, a new trailer mounted, DCC workstation editing model. This meant selling the home studio in order to cover the cost of the new layout.

As the home studio is still subject to sale, we are going ahead with the workstation buys to advance video editing ability for all current Ad work. We need to have the latest software running on the fastest computing power for the most cost effective dollar.

Because space will be limited in the trailer mounted mobile future, it will be important to keep system designs both light weight and easy to transport in a small space. Three slide outs will give us the extra room needed for each workstation however they will not be in use while traveling from location to location. This is when 3 & 4G iphone, ipad, & WIFI will need to take over.

When reaching the shoot location we will be able to get all three workstations up and running as the extra room will be provided by each slide out. As each trailer will be custom built for DCC and Video Editing Demands, we will make sure we have both the power and the finish-out built in, to get the job done, once the slide outs are in place. Everything must be secured & in place during travel mode.

Our plan is to shoot video of each phase of the built out process so that our working partners, sponsors, and clients can see how we are spending out money, time, and effort to be on location and editing in real time as the producer/director might demand.

We are currently looking to buy 8 Core Video Editing Systems with Upgrade potential. Our current focus will be to upgrade each system that comes in with the goal of having all three systems up and running by the end of the year.
