Desigining a green sustainable Digital Cine Rig made with natural fibers

We are designing the first two digital cine rigs with green sustainable objectives in mind. This process starts with the rail rods. With each part in the new catolog the question becomes how can we make this part both green and sustainable? From our research into biocomposites the short answer is natural fibers.
Who are the natural fiber suppliers? Is is possible to reduce the size of the rig while increasing the image quality? The Digital Cine Cage design will be the next hurdle while keeping in mind the object should alway be to reduce the size and weight of everything.

While the lenses & camera body are the first digital cine production concern, it is the Digital Rig design that will make or break your production schedule. These are front side production dollars that are demanded to allow the workflow to come in on time and on budget. Without the right ease of access, scene shot set up & take down, can be reduced to a CRAWL.
